Federated AI Framework for Intelligent Cyber Defense and Autonomous Enterprise Cloud Data Ecosystems
Main Article Content
Abstract
The rapid expansion of cloud-native enterprise infrastructures, distributed applications, and interconnected digital ecosystems has significantly increased the complexity of cybersecurity management while creating unprecedented opportunities for intelligent data analytics. Traditional centralized Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches require aggregating sensitive enterprise data into central repositories, increasing privacy risks, regulatory challenges, and potential attack surfaces. This research proposes a Federated Artificial Intelligence (Federated AI) framework that enables intelligent cyber defense and autonomous enterprise cloud data ecosystems through decentralized collaborative learning without exposing confidential organizational information. The proposed framework integrates federated learning, hybrid cloud computing, Zero Trust Security, autonomous AI agents, predictive analytics, and cloud-native orchestration to provide secure, privacy-preserving, and adaptive cyber defense. Federated AI models are trained locally across distributed enterprise nodes while encrypted model updates are securely aggregated to improve global intelligence. Autonomous AI continuously performs anomaly detection, threat prediction, malware classification, behavioral analytics, vulnerability assessment, and automated incident response using real-time security telemetry. The framework further incorporates intelligent governance, identity and access management, API security, compliance monitoring, and explainable AI to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence. By integrating federated intelligence with cloud-native cybersecurity automation, enterprises can strengthen cyber resilience, improve collaborative threat intelligence, protect sensitive information, reduce operational risks, and accelerate secure digital transformation. The proposed architecture establishes a scalable, adaptive, and trustworthy ecosystem capable of supporting autonomous enterprise cybersecurity across distributed cloud environments.
