Multi-Agent AI Orchestration for DevOps Incident Resolution and Service Reliability in Distributed Cloud Environments
Main Article Content
Abstract
The increasing complexity of distributed cloud environments has created significant challenges for DevOps teams in maintaining service reliability, resolving incidents, and ensuring continuous system availability. Traditional incident management approaches often depend on manual monitoring, predefined automation scripts, and human intervention, which can result in delayed incident detection, prolonged recovery times, and operational inefficiencies. Multi-agent Artificial Intelligence (AI) orchestration offers an emerging solution by coordinating multiple intelligent agents to independently perform monitoring, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, decision-making, and incident remediation. This research explores the application of multi-agent AI orchestration for improving DevOps incident resolution and service reliability in distributed cloud environments. The proposed approach integrates specialized AI agents with cloud monitoring platforms, observability tools, automated deployment pipelines, and infrastructure management systems. Each agent performs a specific operational responsibility while collaborating through a centralized orchestration mechanism to achieve coordinated incident resolution. The study examines how intelligent collaboration, reinforcement learning, predictive analytics, and automated decision-making can reduce incident response time and improve system resilience. A research methodology based on a conceptual framework, experimental evaluation, and comparative performance analysis is proposed to assess the effectiveness of multi-agent orchestration against conventional DevOps incident management practices. The expected outcomes include improved fault detection accuracy, reduced Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), enhanced operational efficiency, and increased reliability of distributed cloud services.
