Blockchain Based Secure Data Sharing Framework for Smart Applications
Main Article Content
Abstract
The rapid proliferation of smart applications across domains such as healthcare, finance, and Internet of Things (IoT) has led to an exponential increase in data generation and sharing requirements. However, traditional data sharing mechanisms rely on centralized architectures, which introduce challenges related to security, privacy, trust, and single points of failure. Blockchain technology has emerged as a promising solution for secure, decentralized, and transparent data management. This paper proposes a Blockchain Based Secure Data Sharing Framework (BSDSF) designed to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and controlled access in smart applications. The framework integrates blockchain, cryptographic techniques, and smart contracts to enable secure and efficient data exchange among distributed entities. A conceptual evaluation demonstrates that the proposed framework enhances trust, reduces security risks, and improves scalability compared to conventional systems. The study highlights the potential of blockchain in enabling next-generation secure data ecosystems.
