Abstract

Enterprise cloud adoption has accelerated the demand for automated infrastructure provisioning while maintaining governance, security, and operational consistency. Traditional provisioning approaches often rely on manual configuration processes that introduce deployment delays, configuration drift, and compliance risks. This paper presents a policy-driven autonomous infrastructure provisioning framework utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CloudFormation, Ansible, and policy validation mechanisms to automate enterprise cloud deployments. The proposed architecture integrates automated compliance validation, standardized resource templates, encrypted infrastructure provisioning, and lifecycle management into a unified deployment pipeline. An illustrative evaluation suggests improvements in deployment consistency, reduced provisioning time, and enhanced governance across enterprise AWS environments. The proposed methodology enables organizations to achieve repeatable, secure, and scalable infrastructure deployment while minimizing operational complexity.
